Role Overview - Data Engineer
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our R\&D team and make critical contributions to our product and solution development efforts. You will work closely with our team to build and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML systems and agents that form the backbone of our product and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
● Understand the company’s business and research goals and contribute to the development of our product by actively participating in brainstorming, coding, testing, and debugging activities
● Develop pipelines and workflows for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment. Further, build and leverage AI agents to automate these workflows.
● Explore and analyze large multimodal datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns that can be leveraged for solution development
● Evaluate relevant open source technologies that align with the products’ goals and objectives, understand implementation challenges and propose solutions and improvements
● Maintain comprehensive documentation of research findings, implementation strategies, and integration processes
About You
● Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science Engineering or associated programs (Data Science, AI/ML etc.)
● 0 to 2 years of experience in data engineering
● Proficiency in Python (Particularly in Pyspark, Pandas)
● Experience or knowledge of building scalable web scraping pipelines is essential
● Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and familiarity with big data processing technologies such as Spark, Spark streaming, Kafka is preferred
● Understanding of common AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow
● Experience with building AI agents, LLM-based workflows, RAG systems will be an added advantage
● A resourceful engineer willing to experiment and work in an ambiguous, early stage, fast-changing environment
● Excited to innovate and solve challenging problems from first principles
