What are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated
Data Engineer
to join our data team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that power both business reporting and machine learning initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data science teams to transform requirements into robust, production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines orchestrated with Kubernetes
Develop and optimize dbt models to ensure scalable, well-documented, and tested transformations
Manage and enhance Snowflake data environments
Write efficient SQL and Python code for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
Implement data monitoring and quality frameworks to ensure reliable reporting and analytics
Partner with business and data science teams to turn requirements into clear, actionable data logic for both reporting and machine learning pipelines
Build and support BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role
Strong experience with:

Azure data services and pipeline orchestration

Kubernetes for containerized workflows

dbt for transformation and modeling

Snowflake, SQL, and Python
Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
Hands-on experience with data monitoring, testing, and quality frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis without the need of sponsorship now or in the future
Must live in or be willing to relocate to Houston, Texas, and work in-office
Preferred Skills
Experience with Google Analytics and GA4 for digital analytics data integration
Familiarity with machine learning workflows and integrating features into ML pipelines
Knowledge of modern data observability tools and best practices
