About the role
Timely and SalonBiz serve over 24,000 customers in 100 countries and are on a mission to build the leading platform for beauty professionals. Together we make up EverWell, an EverCommerce vertical. We offer SaaS solutions to a variety of customer sizes and types within the beauty industry, and weâve got big goals and are ready to achieve them.

As part of the marketing squad, you'll deliver technical solutions that increase engagement with our products, services and communications.
Youâll be interested in working out how to best solve technical and deliver challenges, while helping our marketing team to plan and scope technical work primarily across our website, built on the Umbraco CMS. Youâll also drive our marketing intelligence capability enabling the right tracking \& analysis across our marketing journeys, that enhance our understanding of effectiveness and ROI across digital journeys.
Youâll work closely with a squad of digital marketers, designers and communicators to be the technical lead on solving problems and delivering exceptional experiences to our prospects and customers.
What you'll do.
You'll focus on developing and improving core features within the Marketing software solutions using .NET and React. Youâll collaborate closely with engineers and marketers, balancing new feature development, bug fixes, and technical improvements. Responsibilities include testing, deployment, monitoring, and contributing ideas to enhance systems and practices.
As a team player, youâll build strong relationships, support non-technical colleagues, promote collaboration, and engage in continuous learning and reflection. Strong communication is key, documenting technical decisions, contributing to communities of practice, and working with stakeholders across teams.
Youâll take accountability for delivering secure, high-quality work, maintaining strong testing standards, and raising issues proactively. The role also involves improving delivery practices through iterative, experimental approaches, active use of release pipelines, and learning from production.
Finally, youâll contribute to incident response, helping triage and resolve issues, and participating in post-incident reviews to strengthen systems and processes.
What you'll bring.
3 - 5 years in a software engineering or equivalent role preferably with experience in working on content-managed websites and systems
Youâll prefer working in small iterations, learning from experiments and see the value in DevOps principles
Youâll be familiar with delivery techniques that reduce risk such as feature flagging and partial deploys
Strong competency and experience with .NET, JavaScript and/or API Design.
Some experience working with IaaS platforms e.g. Azure/AWS
Demonstratable strong collaboration skills with other engineers across multiple disciplines
Advocate for collaborative programming techniques
A natural curiosity and ability to problem solve
