Responsibilities: DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a DevOps engineer at EverWatch, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. Qualifications:

You Have:

6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Integrator or DevOps engineer

Experience with using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

Experience with developing Bash/Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, deploy test environments, and execute test suites

Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible

Experience with DevOps processes and related FOSS toolchains

Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab

Experience with integrating metrics and monitoring frameworks including Splunk

Experience with creating documentation for reporting integration results to relevant stakeholders

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer

Nice If You Have:* Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration

Experience with Git Source Control System

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $91.35 to $98.56 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
