Position Overview

The CX Web Product Manager Intern will support the Customer Experience (CX) Web team in driving enhancements across Exact Sciences’ web portfolio. This role will assist with product management tasks, documentation, and analytics that help deliver seamless, compliant, and impactful digital experiences. The

intern will gain exposure to product strategy, agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration within a healthcare technology environment.

This position is in-office based in Madison, WI.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist in creating and maintaining Jira tickets, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Support requirements documentation from stakeholder workshops and design handoffs.

Conduct competitive research and digital benchmarking.

Participate in QA and UAT activities, ensuring requirements are met.

Support analytics reporting through Piwik Pro, Google Search Console, and Siteimprove.

Assist with MLR submission preparation, including content pulls and metadata review.

Display strong communication and organizational skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

Apply problem-solving and analytical thinking to web product management activities.

Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

Scheduling Requirements

Ability to work designated schedule during standard business hours.

Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work on a computer or mobile device and perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.

Ability to use a telephone through a headset.

Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Travel Requirements

Ability and means to travel \<5% between Exact Sciences Madison locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrated understanding with digital experience tools, including Sitecore, Piwik Pro, Google Search Console, and Siteimprove.

Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of digital product management or web development.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.

Interest in healthcare technology and digital transformation.
