Exceed Robotics was founded by a team of mechanical, computer and software engineers who share the passion to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to our younger generations through our robotics program. We work to inspire children to explore the exciting world of engineering and technology and do our part in shaping a data-driven, innovative culture essential for our future economy. Responsibilities

Exceed Robotics instructors teach students programming, electronics and computer design in a hands-on, interactive classroom environment

Various programs which teach graphical and C-language programming, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Computer Design (Fusion 360), programming Arduino micro-controllers, 3D printers...

Classes run on evenings and weekends for students ranging from 7 \& 8 / 9-11/ 12-15 years old

Camps are offered during the march break/summer/winter available for additional hours

Qualifications

Passion for teaching/mentoring young students

Willingness to learn

Available to teach classes on one weeknight and one weekend day

Available to teach year around

Knowledge in programming (Python and/or C/C++and/or Java and/or HTML/CSS/JS...)

Experience programming micro-controllers (Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi) is favourable

Computer design (Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks and/or Blender) is favourable

Experience teaching minors is favourable

Classroom management skills

Teaching Hours

Weeknight and weekend hours can be discussed, below is a general requirement:

One weeknight shift: Tuesday or Thursday: 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

One weekend shift: Saturday or Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (with 1-hour unpaid meal break)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:

Secondary School (required)

Experience:

programming: 2 years (preferred)

Python programming: 1 year (preferred)

teaching minors: 1 year (preferred)

Arduino: 1 year (preferred)
