Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Starburst Platform Engineer (DevOps/Admin) x2 to join their dynamic team. As a Starburst Platform Engineer (DevOps/Admin) x2, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting platform administration and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Starburst Platform Engineer (DevOps/Admin) x2
Location: Charlotte, NC - Local candidates only
What's the Job?
Install and configure Starburst software to ensure optimal performance and security.
Coordinate, plan, and execute platform maintenance, disaster recovery, and software release activities.
Provide Level 3+ escalation support for platform issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Configure and tune production and lower-level environments for efficiency and stability.
Monitor capacity and stability, assist with metrics collection, and contribute to reporting efforts.
What's Needed?
Hands-on experience with Starburst software installation and configuration.
Working knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
Proven troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
Ability to analyze root causes and communicate resolution steps effectively.
Familiarity with Starburst software best practices and security models.
