Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and QA teams to integrate automation into the software delivery lifecycle and continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Stay updated with emerging automation tools and best practices.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
ISTQB or relevant automation testing certification.
