Job Description

Overview:

As a Data Solution Architect, you will play a key role in delivering data and integration solutions across a wide range of projects. You will provide technical leadership, manage solution design, drive architectural governance, and ensure Data \& Analytics deliverables align with business and technology objectives.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, delivery partners, Architecture, Data \& Analytics teams, and programme leadership to define, design and deliver high‑quality data solutions that enable transformation and support strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities: Delivery \& Leadership* Own the end‑to‑end technology delivery of Data \& Analytics products and services across projects.

Ensure effective collaboration between product, project, programme teams and delivery partners.

Plan technical delivery, manage risks and issues, and ensure alignment with IT governance and standards.

Oversee and validate implementations with Technology Leads to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Requirements \& Solution Architecture* Understand data and reporting requirements across all project streams and assess their impact on existing solutions.

Identify, gather and validate Data \& Analytics requirements needed to support project goals.

Define solution architecture, including data models, integrations, ETL pipelines and data flows.

Prepare and present solution blueprints, KDDs and architectural documentation to Architecture Design Authorities.

Governance \& Quality* Ensure all data deliverables align with IT objectives, architecture principles and guardrails.

Monitor adherence to IT quality standards and agile delivery practices.

Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and changes; propose mitigation strategies and secure approval.

Collaboration \& Stakeholder Engagement* Work with Architecture, Project Teams, Data \& Analytics Practice and Portfolio Performance Manager to co‑create plans, approaches and capacity management.

Coordinate with business units affected by data change activities.

Communicate effectively to drive adoption of Data \& Analytics services.

Support benefits tracking and help establish reporting parameters, metrics and presentations.

Resource \& Issue Management* Plan and recommend allocation of technical resources based on programme needs.

Resolve project and programme issues in collaboration with all key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics or a related field.

Experience:

10+ years' relevant experience in Data, Analytics, Integration or Solution Architecture roles.

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Strong understanding of modern data and analytics technologies, platforms and architectural trends.

Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis using visualisation and analytics techniques.

Project management experience involving cross‑functional stakeholders and prioritisation of multiple activities.
