Overview:
Expleo is seeking a technically strong Senior DevOps Engineer to support a transition from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Jira. This role will lead the Jira workflow strategy and implementation, working closely with a Product Owner who brings business insight but requires technical support in configuring Jira workflows.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Jira workflows across the organisation.
Drive DevOps and DevSecOps strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with compliance and reporting requirements.
Provide engineering leadership and hands-on technical delivery across tooling and integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and adoption of Jira.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and stakeholders on best practices in workflow management and DevOps.
Essential skills:
Ability to integrate tools such as ServiceNow and PowerBI into engineering workflows.
Comfortable working in environments with strict compliance, controls, and reporting standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired skills:
Technically hands-on and proactive in solving complex engineering challenges.
Able to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
Familiar with enterprise environments and large-scale tooling transitions.
Experience:
Proven expertise in Jira workflow design, configuration, and project management.
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, including source control and CI/CD pipeline management.
Deep understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, with experience in strategy and implementation.
Experienced in leading engineering efforts and mentoring others.
