Job Title: Part-Time Web Developer (Shopify Focus) – Hybrid Remote

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Web Developer with experience building and customizing Shopify websites. This part-time hybrid role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining our e-commerce storefront. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of front-end development, e-commerce best practices, and Shopify’s theme architecture.
Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain a Shopify website to meet business and branding needs.
Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Implement apps, integrations, and third-party tools to enhance store functionality.
Optimize site performance, layout, and mobile responsiveness.
Ensure website meets accessibility, SEO, and UX/UI best practices.
Troubleshoot website issues and provide ongoing technical support.
Collaborate with the team remotely and in-person as required.
Key Requirements
Proven experience developing and customizing Shopify websites.
Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Experience working with Shopify apps, API integrations, and third-party tools.
Strong understanding of e-commerce, UX principles, and SEO fundamentals.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus: Familiarity with graphic design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Canva) or experience with other CMS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
1–3 years of relevant web development or e-commerce experience.
Experience with version control (Git).
Knowledge of performance optimization and analytics tools.
