Farm Europe

is a Brussels-based think tank specialized in European agricultural and food policies. We work to design, analyze, and promote policy solutions that reconcile economic sustainability and environmental performance in the European agricultural sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Farm Europe is looking for an agronomist with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in EU agricultural policies. Your mission will be to analyze and translate political and regulatory developments into concrete data, models, and impact assessments, in order to evaluate their implications for the agricultural sector. You will work closely with a colleague specialized in political and legislative monitoring. At the heart of European agricultural debates, you will directly contribute to shaping reflections on the future of the CAP and the European agricultural economy.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ensure the link between political/legislative monitoring and quantitative analyses, in close collaboration with colleagues in charge of institutional matters.

Collect, structure, and analyze economic and agricultural data.

Develop simulation and modeling tools for CAP instruments.

Contribute, based on your quantitative analyses, to drafting reports and policy papers aimed at informing or shaping current European policy orientations and legislative reforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Strong

analytical skills

(statistics, data visualization, modeling).

Basic knowledge of

European agricultural policies

(CAP).

Advanced proficiency in

Excel

(mandatory).

Knowledge of other

analytical tools

(Power BI, GIS, etc.) is an asset.

Good command of

English

(spoken and written).

Autonomy, versatility

,

initiative,

and

teamwork.

Location: Brussels

Education: Master’s degree (Agricultural Engineering or equivalent)

Contract type: 6-month CIP or CDD depending on profile

(possibility of extension to permanent).

Salary: To be negotiated based on profile and experience.

Start date: Late 2025 / Early 2026
