Job Description:
We're hiring a
*Test Engineer*
on behalf of our client based in
*Hong Kong*
, a leading provider of independent electronic component testing and authentication solutions. With a facility in Hong Kong, they specialise in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic parts while combating counterfeit components.
**Key Responsibilities:****
Conduct quality inspections and testing of electronic components in an in-house laboratory according to established procedures and standards.
Perform visual inspections using microscopes and other tools to verify compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
Operate and maintain analytical instruments; handle chemicals; and perform tests such as electrical, XRF, X-Ray, Decapsulation, and Solder-ability.
Record inspection observations and test results using proprietary systems.
Prepare test reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Support laboratory operations while meeting compliance and customer requirements.
**Requirements:****
Diploma or degree in manufacturing, electronics, or testing-related disciplines.
2-3 years of experience in the related field
Experience or knowledge in component/product inspection, testing, distribution, or counterfeit detection will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
