Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and data-driven back-end developer to join our growing team of talented engineers. You'll be working on our global racing product, a microservice-based distributed system that is in use round the clock all over the world.
Key responsibilities:
Design and build new C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices
Maintain and enhance existing C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices
Continuously add to suite of unit, integration and acceptance tests
NOTE: CODING TEST IS A MANDATORY STEP IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS.
Essential skills \& required experience:
Strong C# with IoC/DI
Web API, REST (.Net framework, ASP.Net Core)
Micro-services
Unit Testing \& mocking frameworks (nunit, Moq, NSubstitute or similar)
Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server 2012+/ Oracle / Postgres)
Desirable skills \& experience:
Event Driven Architecture \& messaging (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, MSMQ)
Distributed caching (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase)
ORM experience (EF6, EF Core, NHibernate or similar)
CI/CD - Continuous Delivery (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus)
Exposure to high-traffic / distributed software systems
Docker, Kubernetes or similar
.NET core
Exposure to SOA design and maintenance
AWS, Azure
