Objectives
Drive product business development initiatives in alignment with company strategy, supporting the Line Manager in scaling BNPL product performance and partnership effectiveness.
Lead the development and optimization of strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to deliver sustainable business growth, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and mutual value creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Business Development \& Performance Management
Act as a key coordinator with cross-functional teams (Sales, Partnership, Marketing, Operations, Risk, IT) to onboard new partners and merchants, driving sales volume and product adoption.
Own collaboration with Marketing teams (Acquisition, Growth Marketing) and Customer Value Proposition (CVP) team to design and optimize go-to-market strategies and sales-driving initiatives.
Monitor end-to-end product funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively propose solutions to improve conversion, utilization, and revenue.
Track partnership performance against agreed KPIs and commercial commitments; highlight risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
2. Product Development \& Enhancement
Gather business requirements from internal teams and partners; translate business needs into clear inputs for Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
Work closely with Product Owner / Business Analyst / Technical teams to define product flows, features, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Proactively propose new product features, journey improvements, and experience enhancements to strengthen competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate directly with partners to adjust product mechanics, operational flows, and commercial structures to maximize effectiveness.
Support the Line Manager and internal teams in designing and executing cross-sell initiatives to maximize value from the existing BNPL customer base.
3. Partnership \& Stakeholder Management
Serve as the main point of contact (PIC) for assigned partners, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle.
Maintain strong relationships with external partners, fintech, payment gateways, and merchants to support continuous product improvement.
Prepare and present business updates, performance reviews, and proposals to senior stakeholders (Head, Director level), and actively seek alignment and support when needed.
4. Market Research \& Strategic Insights
Conduct ongoing market research to track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product roadmap, partnership strategy, and commercial models.
Undertake other product development initiatives related to the BNPL product as assigned, in alignment with the company’s strategic priorities, business roadmap, and governance framework.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in product development, product management, partnership support, or financial services.
Solid experience working with external partners and managing end-to-end processes for digital products within fintech or financial institutions.
Experience with payment gateways, fintech partners, or key account management (KAM) is strongly preferred.
Exposure to digital lending products, credit cards, microfinance, or BNPL solutions is a strong advantage.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
