Your mission:
Join us in disrupting post-trade processing in the over-the-counter (OTC) energy trading market.
As a Software Developer with a passion for coding, you will play a key role in a small development team, creating a highly interactive, event-driven product.
What you'll do:
The Software Developer plays an important role in our company's product development lifecycle. Working within a small Agile development team, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to design, plan, and implement product and platform features.
Build high-quality, clean, and scalable code by promoting best practices in software engineering, design patterns, processes, and architecture
Collaborate with product managers to understand and refine requirements
Own the implementation process from design to test automation and documentation
Design schemas and interfaces that are simple and allow customers to use features and APIs to meet their specific needs
Deliver rapid iterations of software based on feedback and performance metrics
Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite
Contribute to the architecture and design of the software framework, specific features, and cloud infrastructure
Support the adoption of frameworks, standards, and new technologies
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with RESTful APIs and schema design
Experience maintaining and updating sophisticated, enterprise-scale services
Strong knowledge of backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, AWS
Comfortable working in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment
Well-versed in Agile methodology and experienced across the software development lifecycle
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
Strong written and spoken English skills
