Full Stack Engineer

The Team
In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, we welcome you onto an agile track that is at the forefront of engineering in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology with a high level of focus on TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery and engineering standards.
The Expertise You Have
Have at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of development experience
Proficient in Java, SQL and have proven expertise with cloud technologies such as AWS
Development experience with web application frameworks such as Spring Boot, Production experience with Kubernetes and Serverless on AWS
Experience with iterative SDLC
Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred

Familiarity with event driven and service-oriented processing is desired
Proven work experience with cloud services and infrastructure

Deliver high quality, timely, and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Work with product owner, squad lead and architecture on a frequent, recurring basis to design and influence technical improvements to the platform, team, and direction
Able to clearly present sophisticated technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical interested parties as needed
Develop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on and actively guide technology discussions with business partners and other external parties
Investigate creative practices and decide how to apply them within the team.
