Job Description

We are looking for Data Science developers with strong knowledge in the domain of Financial Markets, Risk Analysis and having excellent programming skills with Python, R, SQL/KQL to join our Data science development team. The role involves performing full-stack development tasks such as Data Pipeline creation, Work Flow building, and Code testing using Python/R, Azure resource integrations, use of Gits and DevOps. Also, fundamental knowledge in Open AI models, prompt engineering and Azure Services will be required. Freshers with 0-2 years of experience will mainly be considered.

Candidates will use the advanced tools and technologies to develop Financial Services applications for Hedge Fund, Wealth Management, and Corporate Treasure clients. Candidates will utilize modern Microsoft developer technologies to bring “ideas” to client application usage on the Cloud. New graduates or experienced developers with strong analytic and programming skills who are detail-oriented, and highly motivated to work in a fast-paced FinTech are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in Python in the Azure Platform. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. Develop python-based applications in the Azure Platform using different Python libraries, ideally in VS Code.

Minimum Qualification: Any graduate degree in Mathematical Science/Statistics/Data science or equivalent.

Must-Have Skills: RDBMS, SQL/KQL Database and queries, Python and R programming, concepts of OOPs, ETL process, data mining from various sources, like API, JSON, pdfs, etc. Domain Knowledge in Financial Market and Risk Analytics are required.

Desired Skills: Azure Cloud Services and concepts of Open AI.

Overall Experience: 0-2 years

Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, UDFs, Regular expression, looping concepts, Exception Handling, Logger method, etc.

Strong knowledge of queries in SQL/KQL databases from UI and programmatically (Python and R) will be needed.

Strong Knowledge of data ingestion to above databases, performing Risk Analytics and data processing in python and R is mandatory. At least 1-2 project on this need to submitted during the interview.

Good knowledge of Open AI, LLM models and Agentic AI.

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, and ETL processes.

Knowledge of handling JSON, XML, and HTML data in python/R.

Experience with different types of API and API tester apps in python/R will be needed.

Knowledge of web scraping, data processing, Data Manipulation, and text mining.

Must possess excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Should have an idea of the end-to-end workflow of any project

Must have good communication skills and work in a collaborative environment.
