About the Role
We are a small financial company seeking a Java Developer to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting our internal financial systems. You will work with existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure system stability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support existing internal financial systems
Develop and enhance applications using Java and the Spring framework
Manage and optimize database structures and queries
Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Assist with system improvements, refactoring, and performance optimization
Collaborate with team members to ensure system reliability and security
Requirements
Experience with Java development
Familiarity with Spring ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
Knowledge of database design and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Ability to maintain and improve existing codebases
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with financial or accounting systems
Knowledge of REST APIs and backend system integration
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
