About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join the Campaign Management team. This team is responsible for improving and expanding the core functionality that powers large-scale advertising and campaign management systems.
You will work in a challenging technical environment, developing scalable systems that support millions of daily users, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable backend services that power the advertising stack.
Develop and optimize systems using Python, Go, and Kafka.
Architect and maintain APIs and data models used across multiple teams.
Ensure high availability (99.9%+) for large-scale systems.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational tools.
Contribute to the evolution of internal infrastructure and developer tooling.
Requirements
5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments.
Strong expertise in Python and/or Go.
Experience with Kafka, distributed databases, and API design.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and infrastructure as code.
Solid understanding of microservices and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging.
Commitment to code quality, testing frameworks, and developer productivity tools.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in AdTech or developer platform environments.
