Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Developer (PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap) to join our in-house development team in Galway. This role focuses on designing and building intuitive, user-friendly web interfaces while collaborating closely with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong front-end development skills, a solid understanding of user experience principles, and hands-on experience developing responsive, mobile-first web applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality UX/UI interfaces for web applications.
Implement responsive, mobile-first designs using Bootstrap.
Develop and maintain front-end functionality using PHP, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Ensure excellent usability, accessibility, and performance across devices and browsers.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic.
Build wireframes for approvals and implement design concepts into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and UI standards.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in UX/UI or front-end web development
Strong experience with PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS
Proven mobile web and responsive design experience
Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility standards
Experience working with cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office team environment
