He kupu mō mātou \| About us
We are embracing a new vision and strategic direction with a centralised engineering, capital and technical group for COO. Global Engineering \& Technical represents a transformative step in our journey towards engineering excellence and strategic innovation to deliver our long term asset strategy within COO. It will drive positive change by enhancing strategic delivery, efficiency, and agility, streamline risk management, standardise operations, simplify processes, improve communication and enhance career pathways for engineers within a recognised centre of excellence, ensuring a sustainable future.
Mō tēnei tūranga \| About the Opportunity
Are you ready to lead transformative change at scale? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Change Manager to play a key role in a brand-new, optimisation programme that will shape the future of how we work through advanced analytics, predictive maintenance and intelligent diagnostics with our assets.
Supporting our newly formed Asset Intelligence Centre of Excellence you will lead and deliver impactful change to enable the successful adoption and long-term sustainability of the benefits of this significant investment. You will partner and collaborate with project teams, sponsors and business units to execute change strategies and detailed change management plans, ensuring our people are supported through the change process and that this change is aligned with project priorities, budget and the broader business objectives.
Core responsibilities will include:
* Leading the development and execution of change strategies and plans for complex or transformational initiatives.
* Managing stakeholder engagement, communications, training and documentation to support successful change adoption.
* Coaching sponsors and leaders to activate change within their teams.
* Coordinate with other change functions to align timing, messaging and stakeholder impacts for cohesive delivery
* Measuring change effectiveness and implementing improvements.
* Planning for long-term sustainability of change in business-as-usual environments.
* Collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure consistent and effective change practices.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves — from developing change plans and communications through to facilitating training, building change capability and driving stakeholder engagement. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by measuring change effectiveness and embedding enduring support mechanisms post-implementation.
Mōu \| About You
You are an experienced and confident change leader with a strong track record of delivering change in both Agile and Waterfall environments. You bring sound organisational change management, ideally with exposure to digital, ERP (e.g. SAP) or manufacturing transformation initiatives.
You are known for your ability to influence at all levels, coach others through change and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Your communication and facilitation skills are exceptional, and you’re comfortable leading teams, managing competing priorities and driving outcomes in dynamic settings.
You’ll also bring:
A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
A recognised Change Management certification (e.g. PROSCI)
Strong business acumen and understanding of technology and process change
Experience in coaching and leading change teams
A passion for continuous improvement and delivering enduring change
Experience ideally from large-scale, complex manufacturing environments
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future of how we work, we’d love to hear from you.
