Program Manager 21700 Products β Forge Battery
This position will be located at our Morrisville, NC location when built out. Preference will, therefore, be given to local candidates.
This position will not be staffed until late September to late October of 2025\.

Position Overview:
Forge Battery is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to be responsible for all aspects related to 21700 cylindrical cells product implementation, strategy and cost/timing efficiency at our gigafactory. The Program Manager will serve as a cross\-functional leader between Forge Battery \& Forge Nano and lead the development of Product Development systems and processes to implement production of new products. Additionally, this Program Manager role will lead and coordinate activity across the Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions contributing to Forge Battery's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the management and execution of all programs and products planned for the Forge Battery gigafactory
Guide special projects and new process development/implementation related to transitioning new products into production; and implementing new strategies for Forge Battery
Serve as a cross\-functional leader, coordinating across multiple departments, including Product Engineering, Manufacturing, ALD materials production, vendor management, and supplier management
Work closely with Forge Nano to align resources and capabilities with Forge Battery's strategic initiatives
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to track progress and mitigate risks effectively
Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and provide regular financial reports and projections to stakeholders
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and industry partners to drive project success
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and updates for internal executives, external partners, and other stakeholders
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across business operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a fast\-paced, start up, high\-growth environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
7\+ years of experience in program management or a related field, preferably in energy storage, advanced materials, or manufacturing industries.
PMP Certification
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive success in Product Development
Proven ability to lead cross\-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem\-solving skills
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication/people skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience engaging with executives and industry leaders
Understanding and experience w/FMEA, DVP \& Product Engineering disciplines
Experience in vendor and supplier management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight
Relevant experience in cylindrical cell format electrodes, cell assembly, manufacturing \& testing
Knowledge of ALD technology, battery production, or related advanced manufacturing processes is a plus.
Work Environment:
Work will be in an office or manufacturing environment. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment. Strict adherence to corporate and/or plant policies, rules and regulations in these areas is required.

Frequent travel (25\-50%) may be required depending on activities. Passport required.
