We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (H/F) to support our projects in Switzerland.
Your job responsibilities
Analyzing and reviewing software requirements from a testing perspective to ensure clarity and testability
Designing and developing
manual and automated test cases and scripts
based on functional and interface specifications
Executing tests within
simulated or hardware-in-the-loop environments
, and recording, evaluating, and documenting results and defects
Collaborating closely with
software development, system, and requirements engineering teams
to ensure alignment and traceability
Providing structured and detailed feedback to improve product quality, safety, and performance
Contributing to the continuous improvement of
testing methods, tools, and processes
, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards (e.g. EN50126, EN50716, Do-178C, ARP4754A, ISO26262, ISO 21434, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 or equivalent)
Supporting the implementation of
automation and CI/CD practices
to increase testing efficiency and reliability
Your profile \& personality
You hold a Master’s degree or Engineering School diploma (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and have at least
2–10 years of experience in embedded software testing or validation
You have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and a solid interest in safety-critical systems and continuous quality improvement
You are proficient in
Python
for test automation
You have experience with
IBM DOORS
or an equivalent requirements management tool, and understand the importance of traceability between requirements, tests, and validation results
You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and communicate clearly within multidisciplinary teams
You are proactive, structured, and detail-oriented, with a drive to take ownership and propose solutions to complex testing challenges
Fluency in English is required; German is an asset
