Data and AI Analyst
to strengthen our
data intelligence and applied AI functions
, supporting automation, insight generation, and research-led innovation across our services.
Role Overview
The
Data and AI Analyst
will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets to deliver actionable insights that drive operational excellence and business outcomes.
The role requires hands-on experience in
data analytics, AI/ML model development, and data pipeline design
, supporting Fortray’s managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud service operations. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to implement
data-centric solutions
that enable automation, efficiency, and intelligent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, transform, and manage
large structured and unstructured datasets
from multiple sources.
Build and maintain
data pipelines, analytics dashboards, and business intelligence models
.
Design, train, and deploy
AI/ML algorithms
for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and process automation.
Conduct
data exploration, statistical analysis, and visualization
to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams to implement
AI and data workflows
across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Support
data-driven strategy development
, providing insights that enhance service quality, customer experience, and performance monitoring.
Ensure adherence to
GDPR, data governance, and ethical AI frameworks
, maintaining high standards of data integrity and privacy.
Perform
R\&D
in AI, data science, and automation, contributing to innovation initiatives within Fortray.
Prepare detailed
technical documentation, reports, and data summaries
for internal and client presentations.
Stay updated with the latest trends in
data engineering, machine learning, and cloud analytics tools
to enhance Fortray’s technology stack.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in
Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline
.
2–3 years of experience in
data analytics, AI/ML development, or data engineering
.
Strong programming skills in
Python and SQL
, with practical use of data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Hands-on experience with
Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
.
Knowledge of
machine learning frameworks
(TensorFlow, PyTorch) for AI model development.
Experience with
data warehousing, ETL processes, or cloud data platforms
(Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, BigQuery).
Strong understanding of
data structures, data modelling, and API integrations
.
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
Desirable Skills
Experience in
data engineering, pipeline automation, or data warehouse architecture
.
Familiarity with
cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure data, or IT operations metrics
.
Understanding of
AI ethics, GDPR, and data protection standards
.
Exposure to
predictive analytics, business intelligence, and cloud-based AI deployment
