Description
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for both streaming and batch processing.
Develop and manage the Data Lake / Data Warehouse (S3, Iceberg, ClickHouse, Spark, Trino/Presto).
Collect, store, and optimize data from multiple sources (application logs, recommendation/search systems, user data).
Collaborate with Data Analysts, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists to enable data access, exploration, and analysis.
Ensure data is processed with accuracy, security, and efficiency.
Automate deployment and monitoring of data systems using Kubernetes, Rancher, and ArgoCD.
Implement and operate DataOps practices, including monitoring, observability, CI/CD for data workflows, and automated testing.
Build and maintain data applications and platforms, such as:
Metadata Management (e.g., DataHub)
ETL Orchestration (e.g., Airflow)
Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Superset, PowerBI)
Other internal data services to support analytics and machine learning use cases
Requirement
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Data Engineer, or related fields.
Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
Hands-on Experience with Big Data frameworks (Spark, Flink, Kafka).
Experience with distributed databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, AWS, or similar).
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and schema design.
Familiarity with DataOps concepts: version control, CI/CD for data, monitoring, and observability.
Experience deploying and operating data systems on Kubernetes (knowledge of Rancher and ArgoCD is a plus).
Exposure to metadata management tools (DataHub, Amundsen) and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster).
Experience with BI and visualization tools (Superset, PowerBI, Tableau).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
