Our client is building the future of decentralized applications and is currently expanding their Web3.0 team in Hong Kong (30+ members and growing). They are looking for a Back-end Development Engineer with solid backend experience who is passionate about learning and working in the Web3/blockchain space.Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend systems, APIs, and microservices for Web3 applications
Integrate with blockchain platforms and smart contracts (training provided)
Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and blockchain teams
Ensure system scalability, performance, and security
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Stay up to date with backend and Web3 technologies
Requirements
1-5 years of experience in backend development
Proficiency in at least one backend language: Go or Python,
Familiar with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Understanding of microservices architecture and version control (Git)
Strong willingness to learn Web3 and blockchain technologies
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Familiarity with Ethereum, Solidity, or smart contracts
Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js)
Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
