Role Overview
Our client, a large and well-established insurance organisation based in Dublin City Centre, is seeking an experienced
Full Stack .NET / React / Azure Developer
to join their technology team on an initial
6-month day-rate contract
. This role will support the delivery of critical digital platforms and cloud-based solutions within a regulated enterprise environment.
The successful contractor will be a senior hands-on developer with strong backend expertise in
.NET
, modern frontend development using
React
, and proven experience delivering solutions on
Microsoft Azure

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and enhance full stack applications using
.NET (C#)
and
React
Build, deploy and maintain
RESTful APIs
and backend services
Develop and support
cloud-native solutions
within
Microsoft Azure
Work closely with product owners, architects and delivery teams
Contribute to technical design, best practices and architectural decisions
Ensure high-quality code through testing, peer reviews and CI/CD pipelines
Support and evolve existing enterprise systems in a large insurance environment
Required Experience \& Skills
6+ years
commercial software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with
.NET / C#
(ASP.NET Core, Web API)
Solid experience developing modern UIs using
React
Proven experience working in
Microsoft Azure
environments
Strong knowledge of
SQL Server
and relational databases
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
, DevOps practices and cloud security
Background working in
enterprise-scale or regulated environments
(insurance or financial services preferred)
Nice to Have
Exposure to
Agile / Scrum
delivery environments
Prior insurance or financial services experience
