Job Description

Increase the organization's ability to securely deliver new features via high-speed, quality CI/CD. This role will collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure that applications are seamlessly provisioned and published between stages and that proper monitoring, logging, and alerts are implemented.

DEVOPS ENGINEER

In a typical week you will

Collaborate with developers and operations teams to deploy and operate applications in cloud environments.

Support development and operations teams for production systems on AWS.

Implement observability in applications through APM and application logs through Amazon CloudWatch and Elastic.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Github actions and AWS tools like CodePipeline and CodeBuild.

Development and optimization of Infrastructure projects as code with tools such as Serverless Framework, AWS CloudFormation, CDK and/or Terraform.

Develop, maintain, and improve the package manager infrastructure for applications such as npm and nuGet.

Coding and scripting with programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, Ruby and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

Reinforce a DevOps culture by writing, documenting, and sharing tools and processes that help us deliver results faster and more reliably.

Perform cost analysis of AWS accounts to locate optimization opportunities and follow up with development teams.

Create standards and references for development that ensure a framework for every developer in the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or related.

At least 3 years of experience in:

AWS tools and services

Docker containers

CI/CD tools

Linux / Windows Administration

3 years of experience in multi cloud environment for the development, implementation and operations of cloud applications and serverless architectures.
