The GP Consumer Products, Connected Products organization is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Atlanta-based development team for our KOLO solution, one of the fastest-growing product lines within Georgia-Pacific, serving diverse market segments with a true customer-facing, full-stack digital solution. This software powers GP Connected Washroom products like our enMotion® towel dispensers, deployed across stadiums, airports, office buildings, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and industrial manufacturing companies throughout the United States. We operate as a startup while backed by enterprise resources, focusing on serving the unmet needs of custodians, cleaners, and facility managers in today's market.
Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite Three Days Per Week.

Our Team
As the newest member of the small but highly empowered development team, you will collaborate directly with product teams, customer service teams and other technical contributors in Data Science, Platform, etc. to play a crucial role in rewriting the customer-facing mobile applications that receive and manage these devices and deliver insights to our users. The current team has decades of combined traditional development experience and has been working heavily in the generative AI-assisted development space, heavily utilizing tools like Cursor.ai and Claude Code daily. This is an emerging domain and we're constantly updating and refining our developer experience in search of the ideal flow. As a member of this team, you will be expected to effectively voice your challenges to existing methodologies and patterns in collaboration with our business and technical teams.
What You Will Do
Full-stack software engineering, owning complete features end-to-end and contributing to an environment where team members challenge and learn from each other
Automate testing of software implementations
Transform existing ways of working through collaborationwith the development team, product staff and business and IT leadership
Actively participate in and improve an agile work process (standups, grooming, planning, retros, etc.)
Drive innovation partnerships by proposing product enhancements and process improvements directly to business decision makers
Collaborate on technical excellence in our agile delivery team through code reviews, best practices, and mentoring
Pioneer next-generation development by leveraging advanced AI tooling, agent-assisted coding, and autonomous development workflows
Act as an entrepreneur with a ship-it attitude, ownership mentality, and comfort presenting ideas to business leadership
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Hands-on experience with agentic software development, utilizing tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, CoPilot, Claude Code
Front-end development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript based frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.
Experience with backend development with languages such as Go, Java, C#
Experience with SQL (DDL and DML)
Recent hands-on experience deploying IaC using technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
Amazon Web Services certification or commensurate experience (ecs, ec2, lambda, s3)
Experience with management and deployment of native mobile applications (iOS/Android)
Experience orchestrating asynchronous agentic processes for code quality, deployment, issue triage, etc.
IoT and facility management experience including building automation systems, enterprise facility platforms, or industrial environments
Technical leadership recognition through open-source contributions, industry involvement, or demonstrable technical influence
