About The Role We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Python development, and workflow migration. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on expertise with AVID Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and the ability to support modern CI/CD deployment practices.
This role involves cloud-based workflow modernization, application and media workflow migration, automation scripting, and integration across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and integrations using Python.
Lead or support workflow migration initiatives from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
Work with AVID MAM systems for media workflow integration, configuration, and automation support.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment and operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, media operations, DevOps) to design efficient and scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot cloud-based applications, media workflows, and infrastructure issues.
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with AWS services, cloud deployment models, and cross-cloud integration.
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, data processing, or workflow integration.
Proven experience in workflow migration (media workflows preferred).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
AVID MAM (Avid Media Asset Management) experience is mandatory.
Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and document cloud and media workflows.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
Nice to Have
Experience with media workflows, broadcast systems, or video delivery platforms.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with storage, CDN, streaming, or metadata management in cloud environments.
