About The Role
As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you’ll report to the Director of Engineering and work closely with a supportive team of experienced developers. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, build production software, and grow into a strong full stack engineer.
You’ll contribute to real features across the stack, collaborate with product designers and engineers, and receive mentorship and guidance as you develop your technical and professional skills.
What You’ll Do
Assist in maintaining and improving existing systems under the guidance of senior engineers
Help troubleshoot bugs and polish existing features
Communicate progress and ask thoughtful questions during standups and reviews
Learn and follow best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
Help maintain technical documentation as features evolve
Write, test, and debug frontend and backend code using React \& PHP
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
0–2 years of professional experience or relevant internships / bootcamps / personal projects
Familiarity with frontend development concepts and modern JavaScript
Some experience with React or another modern JS framework (academic or project-based experience is welcome)
Basic experience or exposure to backend development (PHP, SQL, or similar languages)
Understanding of REST APIs and how frontend and backend systems interact
Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
A strong desire to learn, improve, and take feedback
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with teammates
Nice To Have, But Not Required
Experience with Laravel or another MVC framework
Experience with multiple facets of testing, from QA to building unit \& integrations tests
What We Offer
Base Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 + discretionary annual performance bonus
