We’re looking for a talented PHP Laravel / React Developer (Mid-level) to join our growing team building innovative digital products in the leisure \& hospitality sector. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across the full stack - designing user-friendly interfaces, developing scalable APIs, and building systems used by thousands of end users every day.

What You’ll Do

Frontend: Build responsive, dynamic UIs with ReactJS (including Redux/Context), styled with Tailwind.

Backend: Develop scalable APIs and business logic in Laravel (PHP), with a strong focus on performance and security.

Database: Design and optimise MySQL databases, write efficient queries, and maintain data integrity.

Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers using Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Slack.

Quality: Write clean, testable code with PHPUnit/Jest, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Problem Solving: Debug, optimise, and enhance systems across the stack.

What We’re Looking For

Must Haves:

Strong experience with Laravel (PHP) and modern ReactJS.

Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and scalable backend design.

Experience with MySQL and relational database design.

Familiarity with Git workflows and team collaboration tools.

Nice to Haves:

Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).

Background in testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Jest).

Pay: £50,000.00-£57,000.00 per year
