Key Responsibilities
Participate in the development and maintenance of fintech products, working closely with backend, frontend, mobile engineers, QA, and product managers under guidance from senior engineers
Implement and maintain backend features based on given designs and requirements, ensuring code quality and reliability
Support system and database improvements related to performance, scalability, and stability, with mentoring and code reviews
Follow established engineering best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines, and continuously learn from team feedback
Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments to help maintain system stability
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields; open to fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience
From 6 months of experience with Java (Java 11+), familiar with Spring Boot fundamentals for building RESTful APIs
Understanding of ORM concepts (JPA/Hibernate) and database design with SQL
Familiar with Git and basic development workflow
Understanding of common backend concepts such as authentication, logging, and error handling
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, microservices, caching (Redis), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), or cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus, not required
Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn
