As part of our product and technical growth, we are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen our engineering team and actively contribute to the evolution of our SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer, you will work on a production SaaS product and play a key role in its technical evolution. Your responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python and Django
Actively contributing to architecture and technical design decisions
Working on real-world SaaS production challenges such as performance, reliability, scalability, and technical debt
Analyzing and improving the existing codebase with a critical yet pragmatic mindset
Collaborating closely with Product teams, including non-technical stakeholders
Contributing to overall code quality through readability, testing, code reviews, and documentation
Desired Education \& Experience
High level of autonomy, with responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining backend services
Proven experience building and maintaining SaaS products
Strong awareness of technical debt and the ability to prioritize it effectively over time
Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code with long-term quality in mind
Strong written communication skills, including documentation, technical specifications, and async collaboration
Comfort working closely with non-technical stakeholders such as Product Managers and Operations teams
Ability to thrive in a structured, collaborative team environment where teamwork matters more than individual ego
