*Join our hyper-growth startup and make a difference as a FullStack Software Engineer:*
In this role, you will be part of our Payment Operations Team. This team implements APIs and user experiences to expand the payments platform for our partners (internal and external). You will be part of an autonomous, cross-functional product team able to make its own decisions based on the objectives set by the business. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
In return, we'll give you a platform to exercise your creativity and innovate to your heart's content.
As a FullStack Software Engineer, your mission will be to:
Be happy to contribute to all areas of our system and be involved in high-level product and technical decision-making
Be passionate about building out and contributing to our product and technical best practices.
Balance empathy for customer needs with a visionary perspective that goes beyond simply delivering a faster horse (inspired by a Stripe job description we like and agree with 😉).
This role is a perfect match for you if you have experience in:
4 years of experience in Software Development.
Experience with React and Node.js, and TypeScript (or JavaScript).
Strong understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with monitoring systems, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Experience with frontend optimisation.
A product-driven mindset.
Working on a large or complex production codebase, developing secure, scalable, resilient systems.
Contributing towards product thinking.
Bonus if you have knowledge or love of:
Working in a startup environment (we value your ability to deal with and adapt to fast-paced decision-making, change, and the need to deliver at scale and speed).
Micro front-end experience.
Domain-Driven Development.
