Reporting directly to the Director of Product, the Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing development tasks based on business and customer impact, ensuring alignment with the broader product strategy. The Product Owner will facilitate the agile development process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into actionable development goals and ensuring timely delivery of product features.

Actively work to influence the development team's approach and mindset, encouraging innovation and efficiency in translating customer needs into product features.
Mediate any issues or conflicts within the team to maintain a focus on priority tasks and ensure a harmonious work environment conducive to productivity.
Establish a robust feedback loop between the development team and customers, ensuring that the team receives direct user input to guide feature refinement and development.
Regularly review analytics to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive decisions and track the success of product initiatives.
Use data insights to refine product features, ensuring they meet user needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Continuously gather and analyze market data to understand emerging trends and customer requirements.
Implement mechanisms to collect and utilize customer feedback for shaping product development.
Monitor competitor products and market movements to anticipate shifts and position the product effectively.
Work closely with design teams to ensure that the user interface is intuitive, engaging, and meets the functional needs of users.
Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes to gather user feedback and refine user interfaces.
Ensure UI design follows best practices and incorporates the latest trends and technologies.
Promote a culture of quick iteration and continuous deployment to respond agilely to market and customer demands.
Actively engage with stakeholders to align product development with broader business objectives and customer strategies.
Prioritize development tasks that offer the highest value to customers, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximized impact.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of product ownership experience.
AI product‑building experience is a MUST (e.g., developing ML‑powered features, working with data teams, deploying AI models, evaluating AI performance).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or computer engineering
Experience in a SaaS‑based environment.
Staffing or recruitment industry experience is a HUGE ASSET.
Demonstrated experience working within an Agile team.
Ability to interpret user feedback, performance data, and market research to guide product decisions.
Strong communication skills to articulate product vision, strategy, and technical requirements.
Basic technical knowledge to understand engineering challenges, especially related to AI development and model deployment.
Experience with relevant technologies such as web/mobile development platforms, APIs, and cloud‑based ML tools.
Ability to stay ahead of industry and AI trends, integrating new technologies when appropriate.
Understanding business strategy and the financial implications of product decisions.
