As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support advanced AI/ML applications within a Navy IT command.
This is an on-site position located in either Charleston, SC or Norfolk, VA.
Position Duties:
Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, and other technical teams to ensure the efficient and scalable processing of large volumes of data.
This role will involve leveraging best practices in data engineering to create robust, high-performance data architectures, enabling the effective deployment of machine learning models and supporting mission-critical defense operations.
Maintain data quality, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and streamlining data workflows to meet the needs of the client's IT systems

Position Required:
DoD Secrect Clearance or ability to obtain one
MUST BE A US CITIZEN to receive security clearance
10+ years of relevant experience; or Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience; or
Graduate degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
Career development training
1+ advanced certification
Position Desired:
Experience with Jupiter and Marven Smart Systems
Salary: $136,000-$141,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
