About the role:
Your focus will be to provide expert skills and advice to support the delivery and sustainment of the systems relied on by the Security and Intelligence Community to access and manage their information.
You will be predominantly focussed on SharePoint platforms and tennacies, but will be comfortable learning about and working on a variety of systems that sit within the information management ecosystem, such as Objective and Confluence.
The strong satisfaction in seeing positive outcomes from your work will drive you, and engaging with engineers, business users/stakeholders and leaders will come naturally. You will be skilled in modern development practices such as Agile and DevSecOps, and someone who continuously looks for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the things they work on.
What you'll bring:
A strong on-premise and Cloud SharePoint background, adaptability, and an interest in working on other relevant applications. Also you'll bring:
Extensive hands on experience deploying, configuring and customising SharePoint, Subscription Edition (on-premise) and M365 (Cloud)
Stakeholder management , customer centricity and a focus on delivering value
Adaptability and Resilience , the ability to solve complex technology problems
Desirable extras to have:
Experience with older SharePoint versions (e.g. 2013)
Knowledge of Objective (records management) or Confluence (knowledge bases)
Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps

This is a fixed term opportunity for 18 months. The expected appointment range for this position is between $142,093 - $151,566.

You must:
Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
