Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Product leader for our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the growth of Granicus in the ANZ region.

Over the past several years, Granicus has experienced significant global growth and customer expansion, including several acquisitions that have strengthened its capabilities and helped customers accelerate their digital transformations and outcomes. With over 7,000 customers and 300 million subscribers, Granicus fosters the world’s largest community of digital government and destination marketing practitioners, strengthening their impact while helping them establish a culture of ongoing innovation.

The public sector and tourism market is experiencing the most extraordinary acceleration in technology transformation in 20 years. In Australia, Granicus acquired two highly successful Australian startups in June 2021 - Bang the Table, and OpenCities. These platforms, coupled with the global power of Granicus, has enabled us to create a market-leading brand servicing all levels of government. In September 2024, Granicus acquired Simpleview a leading provider of CRM, CMS, and digital marketing solutions with more than 1,000 premier destinations across the globe including Australia and New Zealand.

The Regional Product Manager is the ANZ market authority across the full product portfolio and serves as a key partner to the Regional General Manager. Together, they shape regional strategy, align commercial and product priorities, and ensure strong execution across growth, retention, and competitive positioning. This role requires deep commercial judgment, comfort with financial and pricing analysis, and an ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear evidence and structured recommendation.

The position also works closely with global Product Management leadership, who are responsible for building products that scale across all markets. The Regional Product Manager provides the ANZ market lens that informs roadmap shaping, feature refinement, and adoption strategy.

What Your Impact Will Look Like:

Market and Customer Insight* Build a deep understanding of ANZ public sector \& tourism needs, procurement behaviours, digital maturity, and regulatory expectations.

Capture customer requirements across the portfolio and translate them into clear guidance for the Regional GM and global Product Management.

Identify market gaps and emerging needs that influence product positioning and commercial opportunities.

Partnership with the Regional General Manager* Act as the product counterpart to the Regional GM in shaping regional strategy and commercial execution.

Provide structured input into pipeline, forecasting, deal strategy, and key account planning.

Support the GM with clear market evidence and analysis during annual planning, go-to-market adjustments, and regional performance reviews.

Partnership with Global Product Management* Serve as the ANZ market representative to global Product Management leadership.

Provide validated market insights that inform prioritisation and roadmap decisions.

Collaborate with global PMs to refine features, use cases, and release plans for ANZ success.

Track performance of new releases in the region and supply actionable feedback.

Competitive Intelligence* Maintain a comprehensive, continually refreshed view of competitor capabilities, pricing, packaging, and positioning.

Synthesize this information into practical recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and the Regional GM.

Identify competitive risks and opportunities and develop clear guidance on differentiation.

Regional Pricing and Commercial Strategy* Evaluate pricing performance in ANZ and provide evidence-based recommendations for adjustments.

Assess competitive pricing benchmarks and inform discount guidance, packaging decisions, and deal strategy.

Support strategic deals by providing structured commercial input.

Cross-Functional Leadership* Partner with Sales leadership to inform strategy for key accounts and strategic opportunities.

Work with Customer Success to identify patterns affecting retention and expansion.

Collaborate with Marketing to ensure campaigns, content, and messaging reflect regional needs.

Serve as a consistent communicator of ANZ market dynamics to senior teams across the organisation.

Portfolio and Performance Management* Track adoption, ARR growth, attach rates, retention, and win/loss outcomes across the region.

Identify performance patterns that influence cross-sell, upsell, and renewal strategies.

Ensure that key ANZ insights are visible to product, commercial, and executive teams.

You Will Love This Job If You Have:

Experience in product management, commercial strategy, solutions consulting, or a similar market-facing role.

Strong business acumen and comfort working with financial models, pricing scenarios, and tradeoff decisions.

Ability to synthesise market intelligence into concise, actionable recommendations.

Strong communication and influencing skills across senior and cross-functional audiences.

Knowledge of ANZ public sector or other regulated markets is preferred.
