Green Light are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to provide infrastructure platform development and support for internal and customer-facing IT systems. The role will work closely with the development and operations teams to drive continuous quality improvement along with process efficiency, automation, and cost/value optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Build, Test and deploy applications
Work with Product Owners to define user stories
Determine how user stories are developed and size them in collaboration
Participate in CI / sprints
Working with the product and platform development teams to deliver platform services and product enhancements
Communicating the cost/benefit for different levels and approaches to development and deployment, balanced against business priorities and risks
Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that planned product features and platform enhancements meet their requirements
Documenting, tracking and escalating issues as appropriate, using standard defect management processes.
Participating in issue analysis and triaging to determine root cause and suitable resolution
Requirements
Strong experience in development or similar experience in DevOps roles.
Proven background 6-10 years in delivering technical solutions / DevOps
Experience working with Agile methods
Expert knowledge of IT Services, service readiness and required deliverables / outcomes
AWS administration and development including experience with the following services: ELB, EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, SQS, SNS, SSM, Secrets Manager, KMS, RDS, IAM, AutoScaling, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, and WAF.
Must be highly proficient using the AWS CLI.
Strong Terraform experience.
Recent experience using both GitLab and Nexus.
