Initial 6-month assignment with long term extensions
$750/day to $850/day (inc super) (up to 8 hours per day across Monday to Friday)
Can be base Australiawide in CBD (3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days remote per week)
Green Light are looking for an mid-level DevOps Engineer (Baseline or NV1 Cleared) for a long-term project.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Manage code repositories using Git
Use Terraform/AWS CDK or similar IaC tools to create and update cloud infrastructure
Work with \& support AWS services for day to day operations
Perform analysis on AWS services to troubleshoot issues raised by Production Support \& Operation teams
Understand different environment setup with integration systems and support when needed
Use Ansible to automate server setup and configuration
Build and run applications in containers (Docker/Podman)
Deploy and manage container workloads in Amazon ECS \& Fargate
Write simple automation scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or will consider a Developer with DevOps experience within government industries or enterprise industries would be highly regarded
Must have a valid/current baseline security clearance or higher (eg NV1, NV2 etc)
Experience with most of the following: Azure DevOps (Git + Pipelines), Terraform (or cloudFormation/CDK), AWS (core services + networking), Docker and Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and / or Azure).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
