We are looking for a mid-level WordPress developer who can take a web page from design to live production. This role focuses on building and maintaining modern, conversion-focused WordPress pages similar to our existing product and service pages (e.g., vehicle-specific battery pages), while ensuring strong SEO performance and visual consistency across our sites.
You do not need to be a senior software engineer, but you must be comfortable translating a simple Figma design into a fully functional, responsive WordPress page.
Experience Level

Key Responsibilities
● Manage and maintain WordPress websites across multiple brands and business units
● Build new WordPress pages and product pages based on existing layouts and design
direction
● Translate basic Figma designs into clean, responsive WordPress pages that match the
intended look and experience
● Add, update, and structure products on the site (including new hybrid and EV battery
listings)
● Write, edit, and optimize product descriptions and on-page content
● Assist with SEO optimization for new and existing pages (content structure, headings,
internal linking, on-page best practices)
● Optimize and refresh existing content to improve search visibility and performance
● Implement light custom coding when needed to support page layouts, components, or
functionality
● Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors as they arise
● Ensure all websites remain visually consistent, functional, performant, and on brand
Required Skills (Must-Have)
● Strong hands-on experience with WordPress (site management, customization,
development)
● Experience building WordPress pages and websites from scratch or from designs
● Ability to take a design (e.g., from Figma) and implement it accurately in WordPress
● Working knowledge of:
○ HTML \& CSS
○ Basic to intermediate PHP (WordPress themes, templates, functions)
○ Basic JavaScript or jQuery for page interactions
● Experience customizing themes, templates, and page layouts
● Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including:
○ Keyword research
○ On-page SEO optimization
○ Content structure and performance best practices
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
● Basic design experience (Figma or similar tools)
● Comfort creating simple page layouts and visual sections (hero areas, content blocks,
product sections)
● Experience improving page speed and performance
● Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar tools
● Experience with Google Ads or other paid advertising platforms
Compensation
$30 - $45 per hour, depending on experience and technical skill set
