The Specialty Market Access Manager is responsible for optimizing reimbursement and enhancing market access for the specialty portfolio. This role leads the development and execution of market access strategies, coordinates the cross functional team, supports the formulation and implementation of pricing strategies, and spearheads negotiations for the specialty pipeline. Your responsibilities will span from the development of the strategic road map for access to the inclusion of drugs in the formularies of large federal and institutions.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Proactively develop creative strategies for early optimal reimbursement and access for pipeline products, distinguishing the business as a preferred partner for healthcare and reimbursement solutions.

Develop and defend differentiated value propositions to various payers and decision-makers, including public and private payers, and state and federal plans.

Build strategic external relationships with senior and sophisticated customers, such as senior government officials, professional associations, community leaders, and drug plan directors, to establish trust and achieve business objectives.

Create and execute strategic customer engagement plans to gather insights, prime provincial payers for negotiation, and support the execution of product listing agreements for timely and quality provincial reimbursement.

Identify and create innovative opportunities to secure product listings by demonstrating flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.

Lead cross-functional partners in developing and delivering reimbursement submissions for private and public payers, strategically leveraging clinical and pharmacoeconomic evidence, and participate in setting strategic access goals for other functional areas.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s degree in health economics, Marketing, Business Management, Heath Care or equivalent.

Solid experience leading and reimbursement Value Proposition, Pricing or Health Economics in pharma industry.

Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English.

Demonstrated success cases in the inclusion of drugs in national and institutional formularies.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Master’s degree in health economics or equivalent preferred

Strong project management skills
