About The Team
A small Java-focused team, consisting of a Software Engineer Level 2, Principal Software Engineer, and Team Lead, is responsible for the development and maintenance of multiple product services tailored for US customers. The team collaborates closely to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability. Members have the opportunity to broaden their skillset by gaining hands-on experience with infrastructure management using Terragrunt, enhancing their understanding of DevOps practices and cloud provisioning.
About The Role
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking to recruit a talented Java software engineer to join our fast-growing Dublin team. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering scalable and robust enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can handle several competing priorities. Above all, we seek an eagerness to learn new things while staying abreast of emerging industry trends and platforms
Responsibilities
Designing prototyping, and implementing robust applications using best-practice, agile development processes.
Working with technologies including Java, Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
Building cloud infrastructure to run and monitor the applications, while automating common tasks.
Collaborating as part of an agile and quality-focused team to deliver tangible value to our customers.
Requirements
At least one year of Software Engineering experience
Proficiency in programming, especially Java. Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps is a plus.
Open to learning new technologies and new problem domains.
Ability to review code and communicate ideas clearly and respectfully.
Familiarity with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) is welcome but not required.
Enthusiasm for experimenting with technology and software.
