In simpler terms, we shoulder the burden of risk so business owners can focus on what they do best with the complete peace of mind we’ve got them covered. We manage the work contracts between construction firms and their sub-contractors.
We serve hundreds of satisfied customers and manage thousands of subcontractors via our platform each month.
Our next phase of growth is to build out our ‘technology’ offering and require a superstar to join us on that journey.
Key Responsibilities
· Assume the role of sole senior developer and technical expert over existing web applications and APIs.
· Develop and maintain full stack web applications using .NET Core (C#) MVC, React, Typescript and SQL databases.
· Manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and integration.
· Work with AWS (S3, SQS, Lambda).
· Participate in testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
· Collaborate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
· Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
· Document technical decisions, processes, and APIs in a clear and concise manner.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
· Implement and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure performance and scalability.
Required Skills
· Expert in .NET (C#) development (with recent, hands-on experience in .NET development).
· .Net Core MVC Design Patterns.
· Entity Framework Core ORM.
· Front-end exposure with React, JavaScript and Typescript.
· Bootstrap and SASS.
· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design.
· Experience with Git, Branching and Pull Requests (Azure DevOps is used at HardHats).
· Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD Build and Release pipelines.
· Excellent command of the English language—both written and verbal.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills
· Experience with Telerik UI components and Reporting or similar.
· Experience with AWS.
· Powershell.
