Backend Engineer (Python/Django)
youâll help evolve several digital platforms â building new features, modernizing existing systems and improving reliability in
AWS
.

The setup is
hybrid
, with at least two office days per week (one fixed team day). Within IT,
English
is the working language; Dutch is not required.
In practice, youâll:
Design, build and maintain backend systems with
Python/Django
Modernize and improve existing applications for better performance and scalability
Work on
CI/CD
, infrastructure, and monitoring in
AWS
Collaborate closely with engineers across other stacks (e.g., PHP, Go)
Take part in architectural discussions and propose technical improvements
Ensure code quality and maintainability across multiple projects
What you bring
3+ years of experience as a
Backend Engineer
working with
Python
(Django or similar framework)
Experience with or strong interest in
AWS
and
DevOps
workflows (CI/CD, IaC, monitoring)
Understanding of
API design
, system architecture and performance optimization
A sense of ownership and curiosity â you like to improve things, not just build them
Comfortable working in an
English-speaking
environment
