DevOps Engineer
A leading technology consultancy is hiring DevOps Engineers to join its Central Government division â working on large-scale, high-impact projects that enhance digital services and improve citizensâ lives across the UK.
Youâll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable DevOps solutions. This is a hands-on role where youâll work with modern tooling, automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure to streamline deployment and transform mission-critical services.
What youâll be doing:
Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Supporting the build, release, deployment, and configuration of applications.
Collaborating across teams to evaluate tools and improve delivery workflows.
Assisting with system migrations, performance reviews, and operational fixes.
Contributing to cloud transformation projects across government departments.

Cloud: AWS, Azure
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
CI/CD: GitLab CI
Monitoring \& Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk
Security \& Quality: SonarQube, Wiz
Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
What youâll bring:
Experience in DevOps or platform engineering within Agile/Lean environments.
Strong understanding of automation, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation, and modern observability tools.
UK residency and eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance.
