An established UK-based technology company is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to design and build high-quality, performant web applications using React and TypeScript. You'll work closely with backend and data teams to deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions across a modern cloud-driven environment.
What You'Ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain robust React applications using TypeScript
Implement responsive UI and modern CSS (SCSS, CSS3, HTML5) principles
Customise build and development tools (Webpack, Babel)
Create reusable functional components and apply best practices across projects
Ensure accessibility, browser compatibility, and performance optimisation
Contribute to unit and end-to-end testing for all delivered code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay up to date with new technologies
What You'll Bring
10+ years of frontend development experience, including 4+ years in React
Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystem knowledge
Experience architecting large or enterprise-level frontend applications
Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Mantine (or similar component libraries)
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards
Nice to Have
Experience with Git or similar version control systems
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
