Key Responsibilities
Own and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on
GCP
using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Manage and operate
Kubernetes
clusters for production workloads.
Implement and maintain
GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines
for automated and reliable deployments.
Set up and continuously enhance
monitoring, logging, and alerting
systems (observability).
Participate in
on-call rotation
, incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and security teams to support application lifecycle needs.
Ensure best practices around security, scalability, cost optimization, and compliance.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in
DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
roles.
Strong hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
.
Solid experience operating
Kubernetes
in production environments.
Practical experience with
GitOps tools
(e.g. Argo CD, Flux) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with
observability tools
(monitoring, logging, tracing).
Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security fundamentals.
Experience supporting
live production systems
with on-call responsibilities.
Good communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
Nice to Have
Experience in
fintech or high-availability systems
.
Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
Experience with security, compliance, or audit requirements.
Prior experience working with international or offshore teams.
